I was on CAV's Board of Directors from 2015 to 2019. However, my role as Chair of the Board of Directors started in 2017 and lasted until 2019.

Ensured linguistic access in ASL or LSQ. Provided cultural mediation and facilitation as needed. Worked with over 200 clients in a variety of settings, including academic, conference, government, union, workshop and general settings. Provided interpreting and linguistic equivalency workshops. Participated in professional development.

- Ensured accuracy and quality of translations from French, English and/or ASL to LSQ.- Worked on over 200 projects for a diverse client base, including but not limited to Government of Canada, human rights commissions, and Deaf organizations.

Courses taught: - ASLA1010 (First Year American Sign Language I)- ASLA1020 (First Year American Sign Language II)

Supervised a team of several employees to provide a range of services for children, youth, adults, and families whose primary language is American Sign Language (ASL). The team is guided by the principles that individuals of all ages have the inherent right to meaningfully participate in and belong to a family, engage as active members of their community, and pursue their hopes and dreams with the necessary range of personalized supports to assist them.

- Co-founded Deaf-owned business focused on improving awareness about audism and Deaf people’s rights.- Provided over 25 workshops, presentations and trainings on various topics such as audism, hearing privileges, dynamics of oppression and inequities.- Developed accessible training for diverse audiences.- Coordinated a bureau of trainers to fit international demand. - Developed a curriculum and train our team of trainers and consultants.

Courses taught: - Interpreting Ethics- ASL

Developed and coordinated an accessible research project using culturally sensitive and appropriate language. Supervised a team of research assistants and managed the research project’s budget. Prepared the annual and work in progress reports, scientific publications, and presentations, including reports to the IRB and the National Institute of Health.
