I am a recent graduate of the Schreyer Honors College at Penn State, studying Mechanical Engineering and minoring in Biomedical Engineering and Engineering Design. I am passionate about finding new and innovative ways to assist patients. I am specifically interested in the application of biomechanics and medical devices. I have developed my technical skills through my team-based courses in which I underwent the engineering design process several times with diverse groups of engineers. While this helped to learn the design process, I was also able to grow my leadership and mediation skills.Within the near future, I am looking to grow as a team-leader and advance to higher-level research within the age of “smart” medicine.
