The TAF mission is to foster personal growth and develop servant leaders in the Taiwanese American community for the benefit of society. The camp itself is a week long (I have been a counselor twice now)—the job of a counselor at TAF is to lead workshops, facilitate small group discussions (between 7-10 campers) and activities (such as speaker sessions, swing choir, choir, etc.), as well as provide both physical and emotional support for campers and other staff.
