Cynthia Purvis Roe has 30 years of experience managing human factors and ergonomic R&D. Her founding the HF program at Compaq Computer is described in Usability in Practice, 1994. She managed the HF Group in the Information Products Division of Xerox, holds three U.S. Patents and contributed to ANSI/HFES100. Cynthia holds a masters degree in Human Factors/Applied Experimental Psychology from California State University.
