Cindy graduated magna cum laude with a bachelors of science in electrical engineering (ABET accredited). At Advanced Energy, she quickly rose through the ranks from engineer 1 to department manager in just 9 years. As a manager, Cindy lead from the front, securing funding for a long needed standard hardware and software framework to use for the next decade of projects including personally developing a hardware abstraction layer using object oriented LabVIEW. With her servant-leadership style management she kept up to 25 people on 2 different continents focused on projects to develop or maintain code in 14 software programs of various ages, styles and frameworks. She did this through prioritization, mentorship and coaching. The resulting applications were deployed into manufacturing and service centers in up to 5 countries with little to no interruption. Cindy then chose a startup, Petra Systems, where she owned the entire manufacturing process and manufacturing quality until the pandemic closed it. Cindy is a Lean Six Sigma green belt. At Advanced energy, quality was part of the job and she has regularly solved quality issues throughout her engineering career. She has used DMAIC, 5-why, fishbone, MSA, Cpk, F-test and T-test, and control charts . She has been trained in 8-D and value stream mapping. Cindy was a certified labVIEW architect until 2018. She has also developed code using NI TestStand and shell scripting and has created, maintained, and data mined from SQL and MySQL databases.
