About Cynthia Singleton

Are you trying to reach parents of children with special needs? As both a parent and a provider, I am well acquainted with work works to reach parents.As an advocate, I empower parents of children with special needs to advocate effectively at school within the special education process directly as an advocate and as a trainer. I helped write the Texas autism supplement and the Texas autism insurance law and was recognized by the Texas Senate for my work in 2007. I successfully advocated for my own son to receive 3 private placements funded by the school district. As a speaker, I train in a variety of areas: first responders in autism risk management; general autism awareness training for companies; how to better support families dealing with autism; transitioning to a gluten free/dairy free diet, conduct Sibshops; and speak on a variety of autism related topics. As a trainer, I have developed a few different courses for those new to special education, and how to understand the system.
