I am certified as an RYT 200 Hour Teacher and am working toward obtaining RYT 300 as well as Restorative Yoga Certifications. Having practiced yoga, meditation, and breath work since 2001, my interests include restorative yoga , yoga for lymphedema, pranayama, mindfulness, and guided visualization. Because of my background in science and healthcare, I am also interested in the latest research on yoga as part of a wellness program. I was happy to offer my business experience to help with the revision of the studio's Teacher Training Manual and I am active in coming up with new class ideas. This new journey combines my passions and experience in ways that allow me to help others while continuing to grow and learn myself!

As the trusted right arm of the practice, I provided forward-thinking advisement for strategic decisions and facilitated strong relationships with both patients and referring offices. My responsibilities included everything from working with patients, to project management during a new office build-out, and even writing first drafts of speeches and organizing events. If it needed to be done, I made sure it is done in a way that reflected positively on the practice's brand. Achievements in this position include keeping the schedule full as a successful fee-for-service practice, devising a scheduling system that increased annual revenue, while still maintaining the same high level of doctor/patient time, establishing a CRM philosophy that consistently maintained and grew the referral base, and perhaps most importantly - In January of 2020 I anticipated and then directed a revision of the practice's inventory strategies so as to be prepared for supply chain issues. Because of my forward thinking, the practice was able to remain open and fully active throughout the shutdown. We were proud to be able to do our part to relieve pain and to help keep dental emergencies out of the overflowing ERs. Working with my husband and partner, I also helped develop enhanced safety protocols to keep patients and the team as protected as possible during the new realities of the pandemic. Ultimately, in November of 2021 the practice was positioned to partner with a private equity backed Specialty DSO. It was a thrilling process, but I decided to step away from any official employment once ownership shifted to the DSO.

I worked with the executive committee to develop a system for gathering and sharing dental health ideas and activities with our membership around the country. The goal was to strengthen relationships, to increase engagement, and to enhance communication between the AADA members. All efforts culminated in a well received presentation at the 2020 Annual Meeting. I remain on call as a volunteer.

Strength in developing and maintaining relationships with doctors, pharmacists and medical support staff. Territory management, 7 county area. Consistently achieved / exceeded sales goals. Successfully supported the launch of new products. Conducted preliminary interviews and screens for new hires. Promoted to Hospital Representative. To this day I occasionally run into physicians and medical office personnel who remember me and are pleased to say hello. I made a positive mark!

Developed branding themes with corporate accounts and used select artwork to enhance those branding messages . Responsible for retail sales, business development, direct marketing, advertising, corporate sales, acquisitions, event planning/implementation, and educational presentations. Secured exclusive dealerships, made purchasing decisions, and designed budgets. Business exceeded growth goals for the duration of my involvement as a partner. Prior to opening the gallery, while still in college, I was involved with importing oil paintings and frames for wholesale trade. I also partnered in developing and marketing a line of gallery display furniture.
