Set and met goals, developed collaborative relationships with nonprofits and government agencies in all 50 US states as well as some international agencies. Taught artists and partners ways to educate consumers on shopping art. Provided tech support to hundreds of artists, partners and patrons. Featured artists and partners on a variety of social media. Recruited volunteers and guest Authors for educational and informative blog posts. *Cultivated and sustains relationships with the local schools, non profits , government agencies, community-based groups, and partner organizations*Developed, implemented educational materials, blogs for artists to help them with the business of being artists. * In just a few months brought together over 500 organizations and 4000 artists from across the county to rally for consumers to shop for art.

Curating quarterly art shows around the state of Washington since 2004. Curated multiple shows at Columbia Winery in Woodinville including the 1st and 4th quarter shows in 2015 , 2016 and first quarter of 2017. Currently curating art shows for Issaquah wine walk and art walk.

I love the challenge to use what I find to create something entirely different. For me creating art is about being able to feel free to be spontaneous. However, my personal favorite pieces are works are works that I was commissioned to make. Those opportunities push me as an artist forcing me to meet requirements and to challenge myself. Art is a hobby for me. I make art in my spare time and I also spend my spare time helping other artists market and sell their work. I have been commissioned to make furniture pieces for AIE located at Seattle Center , gates for an eastern Washington vineyard, and some lovely copper wire herons. As an artist I support a variety of art walks / galas and auctions. inviting artists to participate and inviting art collectors to attend, I curate a yearly show at the Columbia Winery in Woodinville. Cynthia was the Event Director at The Game Initiative where she grew the Game Initiative’s conferences to include small, focused events with a unique focus. Cynthia was the creator and manager of the 2005 Casual Games Conference in Seattle. This successful conference allowed the games industry to focus on a new perspective in the industry. She was also the Executive Director of Austin game Conference , the Women’s Game Conference and Writers Game Conference in Austin, TX. Both of which had record attendance in 2005 and were well covered in the media. In addition to her work on innovative conferences Cynthia also focused on the Breaking In To the Game Industry events and educational seminars on a variety of topics.

Introduced the local local community to the services that the spa offers. Planning block parties, designing advertisements and promotional materials. *Built relationships with local businesses *educated attendees at local conferences ,fairs, and networking events. *Connecting owners to new opportunities * Designed and posted daily social media campaigns

Introduced Pocket Gamer staff to local Pacific Northwest Game companies and managed an invite list for companies around the globe. Assisted in B2B and Sponsorship sales. Invited companies over 200 companies to the Vancouver event. Attended Vancouver Event as staff , assisted with registration , set up and tear down as well as assisting in handling any problems while making sure sponsors and attendees were having a good event.

Part time: Evenings and weekends. Supervise events at district football stadiums. Enforce field rules and safety practices. Open and prepare stadiums for use, supervise events and close up. Set up fields, depending on actively. Work primarily at Skyline High School and Liberty High school. Nurture relationships with coaches, and clients who reserve the stadium.

Multi Media Sales RepSound Publishing Managed existing accounts and brought in new business for our seven east side publications as well as the Seattle weekly. Made sure ads are completed and received on time. Listening first and then advising clients on the best combinations of Digital and Print Advertisements to meet the needs of their business. Worked with the creative team to get the ads perfect. With a combined print circulation of 661,072 and 2.3 million unique visitors online selling print and digital advertising was rewarding. Specialized in political campaign advertising for Washington candidates during election seasons.

Managed all special sections of the paper, selling print and digital ads into those sections as well as working with creative on branding and house ads and brochures. Provided materials to Sales teams to cross sell. Created and managed a Public Free Health Fair , with 40 vendors. Creating a place for the community to get free flu shots , find out what type of blood they have as well as a variety of other medical checks . Bringing in an extra unexpected $40K in Profit . Organized and managed the Taste of Home Cooking Show, recruiting volunteers , sponsors and building relationships . Worked with local business to promote ticket sales. Directed the creative team to get promotional products designed for socail media, posters, websites and print ads as well as digital ads on our owned and operated sites. Generated 65K in sales.I also worked for the Issaquah Press as a Consultantfrom Aug 2011 – Dec 2012 Advertising Consultant for The Issaquah Press, Sammamish Review, SnoValley Star & Newcastle NewsHelping local businesses expand their market share by assisting with marketing of their products and services to the communities of Issaquah, Newcastle ,Sammamish,and Snoqualmie ,North Bend.

The focus of the gallery was to give artists a venue to showcase and sell works of art. We hosted monthly networking events and curated a fresh show every other month. We also hosted wine pick up parties for some wineries. My duties included curating events, building strong relationships with artists , art collectors, gallery donors and sponsors. The Seattle Design Center Building was sold and galleries were asked to pack up and leave by December 31,2014. Gallery Context is now focusing on helping artists find other venues and shows to show case work. We do a early group show at Columbia Winery in Woodinville and a variety of art walks and pop ups.

Evergreen events sold LOGIN and as part of the sale agreement I assisted the new owners with the transition. Advised in all areas so that the move from Seattle to the bay area was a smooth and successful process.

As Curator of Education Cynthia organized and planned outreach programs,summer camp programs,and fundraising events.Over 6 years of working with TV personalities, newspaper reporters and radio personalities to promote the zoological organization . Hosted zoo shows for local news broadcasts, a variety of local newspapers and featured on morning news programs. Organized auction events, zoo snoozes, organized summer camp programs and supported local animal conservation organizations. My last year at the zoo my work was providing support remotely. Outreach was one of my main focuses as a curator of Education. Starting off by Doing Birds of Prey shows and graduating to working with larger beasts: Big Cat and Carnivore Husbandry and training. I have over 7 years experience working with lions, tigers, cougars, servals, ocelots, bobcats. Our outreach programs took place at the zoo and out in the community. Working and training primates, including lemurs, spider monkeys, gibbons, and even a chimpanzee. I trained Volunteers & Jr Curators, as well as carrying for the daily feeding of our entire population of animals.

Recruited to a government agency where I handled pay for special classified projects. Recruited to Joint Military Moulage training program, where I planned surprise mock disasters around the world. Hired civilians to act the roles and supervised make up and set design to make sure incidents were realistic.
