Cindy Andrews is President and CEO of the Community Foundation of Lorain County. Over the past 35+ years, Cindy has held a variety of senior management positions in the private and non profit sectors. She has been recognized for her collaborative approach, dedication, and strategic planning leadership. Her corporate experience includes 26 years at IBM in key management positions. Currently, Cindy serves on several non profit boards including Mercy Health Lorain (where she previously served as board chair), the Fund for Our Economic Future, Ideastream Community Advisory Board, and the Penn State Smeal College of Business Advisory Board. She recently completed the Corporate Social Responsibility certificate at Duke University. Additionally, Cindy has previously served on the board of trustees of the United Way of Greater Cleveland, Business Volunteers Unlimited, The Center for Families and Children, and Oberlin Community Services.During her career with IBM, as the Senior Location Executive of the company’s Northeast Ohio geography, Cindy was responsible for over 400 IBMers and earned numerous awards for business development and client satisfaction. Cindy also led the IBM Education Industry team for the Public Sector Americas and the IBM Smarter City event bringing together industry thought leaders in health care, education, manufacturing and distribution. Cindy holds an MBA and a BS from the Pennsylvania State University. She attended the Philadelphia public schools. She is married to Geoff Andrews, has two adult children, and two rescue dogs.
