I am a shareholder and director of Kemp Klein Law Firm, and I concentrate my practice in the areas of estate planning and business planning. I developed the firm’s exit planning practice group.As an exit planning strategist, I help owners of closely held businesses transfer their companies to employees, family members or outsiders. The goal is to develop and implement a comprehensive transition plan that will allow the owner to leave his/her business on his own terms and maximize the value received. I also implement creditor protection devices to enhance wealth preservation.In my estate planning practice I help clients create an estate plan that leaves their assets to whom they desire in the manner which they desire. This can entail a range of services from writing a simple will to the use of sophisticated planning techniques and gifting strategies. My goal is to minimize the taxes, expenses and delays that are often associated with death or disability as well as to assist clients to protect inheritances from creditors.I am a lecturer for The Institute of Continuing Legal Education, Lorman Education Services, the National Business Institute and other organizations.
