Hello! I have worked at the Simsbury Public Library for 4 years and am currently the Business and Career Center Librarian. I earned my MSLS from the University of Kentucky in May 2021.I am also a self-taught designer and illustrator, and worked full-time in design since the autumn of 2008, when I retired from my job at ESPN after 15 years. At that time, I launched my illustrated line of paper goods, which involved creating my own branding and marketing materials. In 2015, I began offering my graphic design services to my fellow creative entrepreneurs and I’ve had the pleasure of designing for many different projects.As the owner of a home-based business and working in a library setting, I am able to work on many projects at once, while maintaining efficiency and meeting deadlines. My work experience has given me the ability to work with a team on a common goal, as well as work autonomously to achieve what is necessary for singular assignments and long-term projects.
