As a cybersecurity major at Bellevue University, I have honed my technical skills in data storage, network security, and cybersecurity through academic courses, hands-on projects, and part-time participation in the National Cyber League (NCL). NCL is a biannual cybersecurity competition that challenges participants to solve real-world scenarios and capture the flag (CTF) exercises in various domains, such as cryptography, forensics, and web application security.I have also leveraged my previous experience as a drilling fluids engineer at Universal Fluids, where I worked for two years, to enhance my understanding of complex systems and networks, and to apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to diverse and dynamic situations. In addition, I have earned multiple certifications and awards, such as the Linux 101 and the GRC Analyst Master Class, that demonstrate my proficiency and passion for cybersecurity. As a combat veteran and an honor society member, I value teamwork, integrity, and excellence in everything I do. My goal is to apply my knowledge and skills to protect and enhance the security of various systems and networks in the cybersecurity industry.
