This was my first dip into the security industry and it was a fantastic learning experience for things to not do as a security guard in uniform. The company was forced to lay me off after actions I took were misunderstood by onlookers and said onlookers complained to people outside the normal laws for complaints about security personnel.

I was hired for 3 purposes. First, as pulpit supply for the month of July. Second, to enact and manage Vacation Bible School for the church. Three, to interview elder members of the congregation and collect their stories and memories about the church.

Acted out a role as a Blacksmith of the early 1900s, who settled in the Canadian west after leaving Ukraine. This role was performed to entertain and inform the public about the kinds of work done in a blacksmiths shop at the time. Additionally, performed some basic farm tasks like carrying water and repairing a house.
