As a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Pantops Family Medicine, I support individuals, families, and communities in enhancing their holistic well-being.With 10+ years of education and experience employing tools from positive psychology, Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA), mindfulness, higher education, administration, and health (mental, holistic, and positive), I use a multidisciplinary approach to coach, teach, serve patients and customers, and support individuals with wide-ranging ages (newborns to retirees), abilities levels (developmentally-challenged to high-functioning), and health statuses (ailing to thriving). I continually develop expertise in health sciences, coaching, positive behavior change, education, personal development, and mindfulness. The next stage in my professional journey is to simultaneously earn an Associate of Science Nursing degree and Registered Nurse (RN) licensure. These credentials will enable me to further integrate best practices in healthcare with my broad and deep experience in positive psychology and childhood education. By 2021, I intend to practice as an RN in family medicine or psychiatry. My ultimate goal is to be a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and agent for positive culture change in medicine.
