As a Third Engineer with Friendly Maritime Services, Inc., I worked mostly and specialized in Modern Electronic Engines by M.A.N. in their international fleet that aims to develop Eco-friendly vessels. I plan scheduled maintenance while ensuring the proper daily operation of machinery in the engine space. Detecting and preventing possible problems in the greater picture of avoiding more pollution and damage within the vessel and the environment.In addition to general responsibilities as an engineer officer, I emphasize on the importance of team work, discipline, communication and safety in any job/s or operation/s. Teaching proper work ethic to the new generation of seafares, upcoming crew & officers, and embed technical knowledge they will need to be effective.

During my college days I was blessed to be a part of this structured scholarship program designed to input the proper basic education, discipline and advanced skills programs needed to be a top seafarer and marine engineer. Hand picked by member companies, with the intention of developing high quality officers. Enriching not only the practical knowledge needed but also enhancing discipline, self-conduct, humility and leadership. And additionally imparting important common knowledge with monetary responsibility, emotional stability, health risks and environmental pollution.
