As a Bachelor of Science graduate in Population and Quantitative Health Sciences from Simon Fraser University, I am deeply committed to advancing public health through research, education, and community engagement. My academic journey, enriched by consistent placement on the Dean’s Honour Roll, has provided me with a solid foundation in analytical and data-driven decision-making, which I have applied in professional roles with organizations such as Fraser Health and the Canadian Association of Radon Scientists and Technologists (CARST).In my role with CARST, I conducted research on radon awareness in BC municipalities, leading educational outreach and presenting findings at a national conference. As a Regional Auditor in Infection, Prevention, and Control at Fraser Health, I contributed to improved hand hygiene practices, enhancing safety across multiple facilities. These experiences have deepened my commitment to epidemiology and public health.In addition to my academic and professional pursuits, I have cultivated a passion for guitar playing, basketball, Tae-Kwon-Do, photography, and music production. These hobbies have taught me the importance of creativity, discipline, teamwork, and attention to detail—qualities that I bring to my work in public health. I approach each task with the same dedication and perseverance that I apply to my career.I believe in the power of small, consistent efforts to create meaningful change, both in personal endeavours and in public health initiatives.
