I am a business sophomore at The Chinese University of Hong Kong and having finance and business analytics as my concentrations.Taking finance and business analytics as my concentrations is due to my father who was a vice-chairman of a textile company. I used to visit his office every day, seeing him analyzing the data of the company, making plans, and monitoring its financial affairs. I am always curious about the decisions or actions he had made, and I always got a brief explanation. Since then, I found interest in finance and business analytics and took them as my concentrations in university. Afterward, I started to read countless books and articles relevant to the field as a way to enrich my knowledge.Last year, I participated in the Society of Business Administration of SHAW College as a welfare officer. It consisted of over 300 members. Many materials and discounts were needed for holding a series of events, like orientation camp, I kept communicating with industries for sponsorship. It sharpened my organization and communication skills. This platform provided opportunities for me to try something new, like designing logos and souvenirs with Photoshop. There were success and failure, no matter what, I have learned a lot from it.Currently, I am seeking internship opportunities that allow me to learn more and utilize my strengths before graduation.
