With a degree in Manufacturing and Process Automation, together with his extensive work in the Acute pharmacy sector, his knowledge of workflow automation in a pharmacy setting is extensive. He has now been appointed as the UK Sales Manager for Specialist Automation with Omnicell; a highly technical product suite that includes:• RDS – Robotic Dispensing Systems – large and small pack picking robot solutions with both chaotic and channel storage in a single unit• SupplyHub – Software based, GS1 scanning solution for wide scale inventory management in an Acute clinical setting• VBM – Class leading, automated blister packing solution with the unique “Vision” system optical checking for output.Cyrus can offer quantified, consultative advice on the best methods to drive automation efficiencies and savings using these ground-breaking technologies which are saving £millions within the NHS and Commercial Pharmacy sectors.

It Is with great pleasure that I have been invited to join the UK team at Genesis Automation.I will be responsible for all aspects of client and sales liaison in the UK and Europe. Genesis VMI is the class leading solution for inventory management (IM) within the NHS. It offers an IT light solution to the huge issues of IM across secondary care environments. It also eliminates the large capital expenditure required from alternate solutions in the market place. Genesis VMI is a fully scalable solution for all aspects of IM and has a functionality that far surpasses anything else available on the market today. In light of the emphasis placed on scanning IM and automation by the Lord Carter report, I look forward to responding to the enormous UK demand for automated IM both in the UK and Europe.

As of May 1st 2015 the Avantec Healthcare brand has been acquired, in its entirety by Omnicell USA!! It means we are no longer simply a distributor for Omnicell. Avantec Health Care will now form their central hub for all of Europe, Middle East and Asia and have Omnicell’s direct support for our UK installations moving forward. The support of a $1.2billion dollar global company means that we can respond faster to our clients manufacturing requirements and ensure the continuity, development and support for their Omnicell system needs both now and in the future. This represents a substantial commitment and investment by Omnicell to our NHS market and a belief that they deserve the best access to systems for pharmacy and supply.Omnicell have simultaneously acquired Mach4 (pharmacy robot company based in Germany) and Avantec/Omnicell will be providing sales, service and support to promote this remarkable technology to the UK. Omnicell now represent one of the largest worldwide suppliers of hospital automation from Central Pharmacy Robotics to Auto Dispensing Cabinets for both medicines and clinical supplies as well as medicine adherence packaging via their MTS brand.My role is to continue to be responsible for the coordination and implementation of Automated Inventory Management Systems and Pharmacy ADC's and Robots within NHS secondary care environments as well as Ambulance Trusts and Private Hospital Environments whilst leading the Southern Sales team to offer the de facto solution for perpetual Inventory Management through the secondary care sector and beyond.
