Recruited, hired, trained and directed national sales team for a formerly regional company. Developed budgets, compensation and incentive plans, instituted sales forecasting and pipeline reporting mechanisms.

Starting with nothing but my car, some guts, and a pretty good product, I formed and grew a sales/distributing company dealing in medical/surgical capital equipment. Over the years, we sold nationally through our own direct sales team and other independent reps and distributors as well as through international distribution growing sales from $0 to a high of $25 million.

Fresh out of Georgia State with a brand new MBA, I wrote, and then executed business and marketing plans that formed Pfizer Laser Systems. The result was a profitable operating unit of Pfizer’s Hospital Product Group. Led the Sales Team of 4 Regional Managers and 52 Sales Reps.

Served as aerial observer (RVN) and Battery Executive Officer, Battalion Training Officer (Ft. Bragg.) Numerous awards and decorations. Honorably discharged.
