I am a teacher with 19 years experience in teaching in a variety of classroom settings. I have worked in the self contained setting with students with Autism, Intellectual Disabilities, and/or Physical Impairments. I've also worked in the co-teach and resource setting as a mathematics teacher at the high school level. I have taken on many leadership roles within my department and in the district including: serving on the SAC committee, serving on the assistive technology team at my school, assisting the department chair and assistant principal in setting up our data room and in supervisory duties. I have served on the Florida Department of Education Committee with Measured Progress to develop assessment questions for the FSAA.Colleagues know me as a team player that strives to do what's best for the facility and especially for our students.While I enjoy all aspects of my job I enjoy collaborating with my colleagues the best. I have a current professional teaching certificate in the state of Florida which is valid until June of 2016.
