-Assistant Project Manager on $510Mil expansion in Leon, MX-Led cross functional team (engineering, operations, product design, quality) to redesign our Offspec Circuit. We optimized the process using robots, ASRS Storage, and automation. We were able to significantly reduce complexity (# SKU’s) by creating an algorithm to make the best decision based on the quality of the inventory available. This project led to the application of 4 Patents.-Determined required staffing, training, and budgeting for Greenfield facility in Mexico.-Determined and optimized flow of a Lean Greenfield factory using Process Mapping & Waste Reduction.

-Responsible for teaching the local Chinese Management Team Michelin’s Production Management/Continuous Improvement System (Michelin Manufacturing Way)-Led Kaizen Events and trained local employees in various problem solving methodologiesTrained the local team (Senior Leadership & Operational Team Members) Lean/Six Sigma culture and the tools they would need to continue to drive progress upon my return the the US.-Country Expert for Bib Solv (Michelin’s DMAIC/Root Cause Analysis tool). I was responsible for the quality of application for all 6 factories in China. I trained over 100 local employees in this methodology-Developed and implemented a management /coaching system that reduced scrap by 30% in 3 months

-Assistant Project Manager on $200Mil expansion in Anderson County, SC-Managed the Staffing, Hiring, and Training Plan for over 100 employees for the new facility. I was responsible for developing and managing the $17 Million Budget and Schedule. I coordinated with HR, Training, Production, and Maintenance teams in both the US and Poland. We came in under budget and on schedule.-Optimized the flow of material and layout of new facility applying lean principles-Developed and implemented new reception process that reduced capital investment by $775K and annual operating expenditures by $240,000-Expert in Michelin’s proprietary Facility Ramp Up Methodology. Facilitated many events in multiple countries.
