The assignment involved reviewing the state of the art, drawing up and circulating a questionnaire within the SCE teams, conducting internal and external interviews and synthesizing the data collected. It culminated in the drafting of a research report defining the “calmed city” and proposing ways of repositioning the human and the living at the heart of city design. At the same time, I was able to take part in the preparation of responses to calls for tender and the drafting of technical diagnostic reports on engineering structures.

Subjects: pollution, plastic, densimetric sorting, water treatment, micro-plastics, PE, PP My mission as part of Plastic Odyssey's technical team was to design and build a module for densimetric sorting (between recyclable and non-recyclable plastics/non-plastic), cleaning and drying plastic flakes from a shredder. This module is integrated into a complete chain for processing HDPE, LDPE and PP plastic waste for recycling or, as a last resort, for energy recovery. This processing chain is destined to be taken on board the ship used for a 3-year expedition over 30 stopovers, to raise awareness, document and help take action against plastic pollution.
