I'm a Senior Communications Advisor and FIP coordinator at the Office of the Auditor General of Canada. I joined the OAG in 2009, and I've worn a lot of hats in the last 10 years. Before coming back to my hometown of Ottawa, I worked in a television post-production studio in Toronto in closed-captioning and subtitling. It was fun after a couple busy years getting an M.A. in theoretical Linguistics at York University. While the Federal Identity Program is front of mind for me, I'm also happy to get involved in projects involving visualisations, data analytics, and web accessibility. Project management and user experience are areas I'd love to get to know more about, both inside the government and without.I'm looking forward to seeing how open government initiatives and digital citizen engagement develop in Canada and overseas!
