I worked at Xerox in the Dominican Republic on a project for BBVA Compass Bank from November 2014 to May 2016. In this role, I was part of a team engaged in transaction processing within an English work environment.My main focus was on various financial processes for the project, including:Chargebacks: I conducted thorough investigations and analyses of financial instruments that were returned to the bank. This involved verifying the origin and destination of funds used in different banking transactions to ensure accuracy and proper routing.Dormants: I was responsible for verifying signatures on inactive accounts to prevent potential fraud and unauthorized transactions. This task was crucial for maintaining the security of customer accounts.Stop Payments: My role included analyzing financial instruments and transactions for any restrictions, such as stop payments. Detecting and addressing these restrictions was essential to prevent unauthorized transactions.Automated Clearing House (ACH): I reviewed ACH transactions initiated by users to ensure their legitimacy and prevent fraudulent activities.Bank of First Deposit (BOFD): I managed the process of sending received checks to their corresponding banks, requiring meticulous attention to detail to ensure accurate and timely processing.Research: I conducted investigations into transactions made by the bank's customers over specific periods for legal purposes. This involved analyzing transaction records and providing necessary information.Throughout these tasks, I used various operational systems and tools, including ALNOVA, VECTOR EXCEPTIONS, VECTOR FIVE, PAYMENTS WAREHOUSE, and SIGNATURE CARD.My role demanded a keen focus on accuracy, fraud prevention, and ensuring the proper execution of financial transactions to uphold the bank's standards and provide a secure environment for its customers.
