D'Andrea Wright is an educator dedicated to nurturing both the intellectual and social growth of her students. With six years of teaching experience, she has excelled in roles ranging from high school instruction to her current position teaching 4th grade in Atlanta Public Schools. Recently promoted to Grade Level Chair of the 4th-grade team at Centennial Academy, D'Andrea is recognized for her leadership and commitment to educational excellence. Prior to this, she worked as a 3rd grade and 9th-12th-grade teacher in Fulton County Schools, where she helped her students achieve some of the highest growth in Georgia Milestones.Beyond the classroom, D'Andrea extends her educational impact through roles as a professional nanny, tutor, and previously as a mentor for Next Generation Men and Women in Atlanta, GA. She is now also a graduate coach for Ingenius Prep, where she passionately helps students prepare for college, transitioning from traditional classroom teaching to a role that allows her to focus on mentoring while creating time flexibility for her writing projects. She is adept at integrating community involvement into her teaching and leveraging AI technologies to enhance educational experiences.D'Andrea is currently pursuing her graduate degree in Elementary Education and graduated from Wesleyan College with a major in English and Music, where her collaborative spirit and expertise led her to work with elected officials such as Park Cannon, further demonstrating her commitment to educational advocacy and community engagement. Her dedication to innovation is reflected in her freelance writing; she was recently published by IGI Global, where she co-wrote "The Role of Faith and Religious Diversity in Educational Practices" with Dr. Shekema Dunlap.
