In my work role, I use research to help employers, post-secondary institutions, and students get the most out of work-integrated learning (WIL) programs. I manage other researchers, collaborate with international scholars on research studies, consult with industry partners, and share insights with the WIL research community by writing papers and giving presentations. I am an associate editor of the world's only academic journal dedicated to WIL. Occasionally, I also research and teach about service quality and service management in the context of recreation, sport, and special events.
