For the past 30 years, HTI staff has provided high-quality health services and law enforcement training for personnel of emergency medical agencies, youth-serving agencies, children's centers, and hospitals. Retired after 44 years of service from the Metropolitan Police Department of Washington D.C. For 34 years was an instructor at the Metropolitan Police Training Academy.Graduated from the George Washington University: Emergency Medical Technician program created for DC Fire and EMS Training Academy in 1985Certified EMT Instructor by the Emergency Health and Medical Services office of Washington D.C.Assisted in training personnel to become EMTs for the D.C. fire Dept. ambulance service.American Heart Association Instructor- Trainer for CPR AED / First aid and 12 other health and emergency care training programsServed as a Basic Life Support Regional faculty board member for American Heart Association for seventeen years.In March of 2000, I was part of the DC Fire / EMS team that went to The Island of St. Maarten/St. Martin to train the Island’s first group of Emergency Medical Technicians certified under the DC Government Emergency Medical Services System.From 1998 - 2010 served as a representative for Metropolitan Police Department on the Mayor’s Emergency Medical Services Advisory Committee. From 1985 - 2008 trained every Recruit Officer coming to the Department in the 40-hour D.O.T. Emergency medical first responder program and the CPR program
