The good guys was acquired by Carlos Slim in 2005 and closed all retail locations in 2006. They did however continue on under a store-within-a-store format in select CompUSA locations and I stayed on in the Portland Airport CompUSA location until September of 2007 when I was recruited by Video Only.

High end Audio and Video Store with custom installation department. There was a gap of several months when Bradford's closed their car audio department and I left to leave room for associates with more tenure. I was actively recruited by The Good Guys! as they were just filling in their Pacific Northwest stores adding a dozen stores in Oregon in Washington in just two years time. I grand opened the Eugene The Good Guys! location and then advanced to Portland and the Seattle Washington stores as they expanded and opened many new stores with them.
