Health Psychology Internship Program Director And Intern Training Supervisor
Participated as Training Internship Supervisor for pre-doctoral and doctoral level students in the LHS/CLS Internship in Professional Adolescent & Forensic Psychology (APA/APPIC accredited) from 2010 until present. Rotations included substance use/abuse (SUD), Reception/Crisis, Sex Offender Treatment and Evaluation, and Copper Lake School rotations. Participated as the Internship Program Director for approximately a year around November 2015 through November 2016. Co-led the LHS/CLS Internship Class for the full internship year from September 2014 through August 2015. For part of this year, was one of only two licensed supervising psychologists on site for four interns. Duties included revising the basic internship program in accordance with past intern and site visitor suggestions, modification of the Internship Description Guide, the Intern Guide, individual and group supervision, training, didactic training, the paperwork and computer registration and other work required for an internship, an APA site visit where modifications where made according to site visitors suggestions, and acquisition of further APA accreditation until 2018. Kept and processed data and other information for the site visit. Other duties included weekly individual and group supervision, didactic trainings, and consulted and liaised with institution staff regarding the psychology interns and the internship.
