The team manages 4 instances of Oracle DB supporting axiUm EHR running on Oracle Database Appliances platform.A host of digital imaging systems are additionally supported by the application team which includes several PACS (2D and 3D), modeling for prosthodontics and periodontics, Dolphin Imaging 2D/3D for orthodontics, intraoral imaging, all requiring API bridging into a multitude of 2D/3D image capturing scanners such as CareStream, RAYSCAN, PlanMeca, JMorita, iCAT CBCT. Other technologies developed and managed include a varied set of intraoral scanning devices utilizing a number of CAD-CAM systems; scan, design, manufacture.Other areas of responsibility include development of data analytic dashboards using Tableau, digital signage using BrightSign technologies, data extracts to support CAPSTONE projects and BigMouth dental data warehousing project, dental licensure examination support, online testing with ExanSoft, web and social media management and marketing efforts as defined by the Office of Communication and Marketing. First order was to prepare the company for any Y2K issues and upgrade the network from IBM Token Ring to Ethernet.
