Promoted to Engineer whilst working as part of the Combustion Teamo Continued to be responsible for engine based validation testing of F2E system to ensure the product met customer durability requirementso Co-authored the technical paper entitled "Beyond Euro VI - An FIE System and Combustion Optimisation Approach" for presentation at the UniCEG Conference in December 2015o Re-commissioned an electronic unit injector based heavy duty diesel single cylinder research (SCE) engine, to incorporate a remote pump driven off the dynamometer drive shaft to provide a platform where EUI, F2E and other non-rocker driven injectors could be tested • Created a complete system model using Solidworks before drawings of custom parts were released and manufactured • Collated all required components before arranging regular travel to another Delphi site, in order to install and commission the new system • Converted test cell operating system to use ATI Vision as a method of communicating with the ECU • System successfully ran for over 12,000 hours, completing a large number of tests that were used to drive advanced product development until finally being de-commissioned in 2017
