I have spent the last 22 years in the Utah Army National Guard working up the ranks to become a CW3 HUMINT Collection Technician. I have been a squad leader, a platoon sergeant, a team chief, and most recently, I was the Eastern Hemisphere Branch Operations Chief for the Joint Language Training Center in Utah. I maintain a 3/3 on the Defense Language Proficiency Test in Arabic (MSA), Dari, and Pashto. I am also conversationally proficient in Spanish and Persian Farsi. During my time in the Army, I was selected as the National Guard Bureau Linguist of the Year, received the Knowlton Award for my contributions to military intelligence, and have several other medals and awards for military excellence and achievements throughout my career.My dearest accomplishment in the military comes from working as a leader of Soldiers. Taking care of people's careers through counseling, developing training, and helping them become the best while accomplishing stated organizational goals is something I am proud to have accomplished throughout my career. I work well with people. From managing customers, to resolving conflict between stakeholders, the skills that I developed through experience in my MOS have uniquely qualified me to work with people who need help. Sitting with someone in need, identifying their problems and developing solutions, then following up on their plans, is something I see myself doing in the future. Whether as a Certified Life Coach, or licensed Therapist, I believe I can help others improve their wellness.
