Maxwell has advised on real estate across a number of industries, including legal, professional and financial services, and distribution. Notable clients include Alston & Bird, James McElroy & Diehl, Horack Tally/Offit Kurman, Barings, Weyerhaeuser, Goodrich and Crown Castle.Prior to joining JLL in October 2022, Maxwell served as Managing Director at The Spectrum Company, where he served on the development team securing air rights and tieback agreements in an urban environment, project branding and website development, and leasing (99% occupancy) for a $300 MM, 650,000-SF Class A+ office tower for Barings/Mass Mutual. His community leadership includes serving on the "Rethinking Southern Cities" council for the Urban Land Institute (ULI), board of directors for Charlotte Region Commercial Board of Realtors (CRCBR), Charlotte Repertory Theatre, Mecklenburg Parks and Recreation, and Myers Park Country Club. Maxwell has been a Charlotte leader in Boy Scouts and is the proud father of two Eagle Scouts. In addition to his undergraduate and graduate degrees at Emory and Washington University, he earned the rigorous CCIM and SIOR industry designations and has been a speaker on LEED initiatives and CCIM market forecasts.
