As head of Northern Region, I am responsible for generating more than 25% of the total company revenue. The job entails administrative control, operational management and revenue generation for the Northern region that includes 30 stations. My responsibility further includes providing leadership in directing regional strategies and goals in line with the overall corporate objectives. The objective being to deliver and maximize (1) revenue, (2) load factors, (3) operational efficiency and (4) operating profit for both cargo and passenger business.

Was part of the Air India Disinvestment project . Government of India in a strategic decision announced disinvestment of Air India in 2017 and as part of Strategy and Planning department of Air India I was the SPOC in AI, liasioning with the Ministry of Civil Aviation, external consultants. internal departments, setting up data centre etc. Additionally, I was also involved in fleet planning exercise of the company during the tenure.

As Air India's Regional Head - APAC, I was responsible for P&L deliverables across Asia Pacific region including China, Japan, S.Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam, Australia and New Zealand. The role involved providing leadership in directing regional strategies and goals in line with the overall corporate objectives to deliver and maximize revenue, load factors, operational efficiency and operating profits. As regional Head APAC, I was representing Air India in Industry events, Government forums, Airport Authorities etc to promote AI regional interests. My responsibility also included identifying and developing new opportunities for growth in the region for both passenger and Cargo business.

Was responsible for corporate Marketing plan of the organization including advertising, promotional activities, trade events and Channel promotion activities. As a part of the corporate sales function I was actively involved in managing agents incentive plan and corporate deal plans. Was also part of the team from Air India during cutover into Star Alliance program. Represented AI in industry meetings with IATA BSP, Agents associations in India, part of APJC etc.An as airline professional with approx. 20 years of experience in various aspects of Commercial department of the Airline including Reservation, Airport Handling, Training, Sales and Marketing and general administration.

Via is USD 400 million B2B Travel Technology company, a market leader in its space doing 20000 transactions per day through more than 25000 transacting agents. Via had a presence in India, Philippines and Indonesia.As Chief business Officer I was responsible for the Global expansion of the company across geographies & products and explored opportunities across APAC, ANZ, Russia etc. I was also heading the Railways Business vertical and was head of HR & Administration for the company.

As VP AISATS I was responsible for establishing, growing and expanding both passenger and cargo business for the company. AISATS was a new JV launched by AI to get into the business of ground handling and cargo handling at major airports and the project was launched from BLR. I was overall incharge of Operations, CRM, Business Development and Administration of Ground Handling and cargo Business Unit, Bangalore. I was also part of the team planning expansion of the company in South India including Mangalore and Trivandrum.
