World Bank's data and research unit indexed, organized and analyzed the 8.6 terabytes of data that make up the leak, using collaborative platforms to communicate and share documents with journalists working in 25 languages in nearly 80 countries.In June 2018, World Bank and its partners published new stories from a fresh leak of 1.2 million files. The documents, which include emails, passport copies and criminal case files, are dated from early 2016 through the end of 2017, a few months before the firm collapsed. The information was obtained by the same newspaper that had received the first leak, Süddeutsche Zeitung, and shared with World Bank.

-The primary responsibility of the role is to drive the company’s approach to delivering a true collective intelligence platform. - The role will undoubtedly change over time and we are looking for a candidate that is able (and willing) to help with the hands on delivery as we iterate the first versions of our collective intelligence platform and how it interfaces with the company’s other product offerings. - Assist the Research Team in evaluating products in the market - Contribute to the technical architecture which will allow for us to both iterate quickly on the initial versions of the platform and also unlock our ability to scale as the team grows. - Assist the team in road mapping pragmatic ways to identify, collect and interpret the signals needed to support building ontologies with a high degree of accuracy. - Collaborating closely with the Head of Engineering, Head of Product, CEO and other leaders within the business to ensure harmony between priorities and delivery.
