CurrentResponsible for all aspects of Sotheby’s real estate portfolio including acquisition & disposition, facilities management, leasing and project management. Executed Purchase & Sale Agreement to acquire historic Breuer Building from the Whitney Museum. Due to the timing of current tenant, deal will close Q4 2024. Developing plans to redesign the museum as new exhibition and auction house space. Design includes adding new freight elevator, VIP boxes, and movable partition system to maximize linear square footage during Marquee Exhibitions.Negotiated 30+ year two phase lease of 5 floors valued at over $700MM as part of overall repositioning of real estate portfolio. Transaction involved converting current owned building to condo structure so that tenant could take advantage of tax exemptions. Completed restack and cleared two floors as part of Phase 1 turnover.Completed $82MM purchase of 240,000 SF mixed use warehouse and office tower in Long Island City. Completed construction of new warehouse to consolidate art storage from four locations to one. Developing plans for new office space to provide more economical people space. Post close refinanced asset for $50MM. Successfully outsourced inhouse engineers, trades and mailroom to outsource providers to provide more staffing flexibility and increase purchasing power with Integrated Facility Management company.Renegotiated multiple facilities management contracts to provide over $2MM in savings while also increasing service levels and KPI requirements. Leased and built-out galleries in East Hampton, Palm Beach, Los Angeles and Aspen to improve private sales division ability to connect with clients. Leases were below market and construction was on time and under budget. Assisted finance department on $450M+ refinancing of owned asset in New York City providing capital while ensuring flexibility for changes in long term real estate strategy.
