Elected as financial chairman and board member of KSat e.V. in Dec. 2022, a student society with over 150 members. (Reelected in 2023, now over 200 members). I am responsible for acquiring customers and sponsors, communicating requirements and organizing launches from the paperwork to task assignments. I am also helping with designing a new PCB and writing embedded code for the flight software.

As part of FARGO (https://www.ksat-stuttgart.de/en/fargo-en/), a student project, I have been working in the Electronics team and later joined the Software Team to assist in programming the emdedded devices and SBCs. Over time I took on larger roles in the team by working on integration of the individual software components, working on last minute fixes inside the NASA SSPF and lastly taking over the Operations phase as our box of experiments spent 4 weeks on the ISS. This was a huge learning experince for me, as we had to solve hard problems and innovate on the fly with the remaining experiment duration shrinking every day. After 4 weeks of very hard work we were able to demonstrate functionality of all 3 of our experiments.

As part of FARGO (https://www.ksat-stuttgart.de/en/fargo-en/), a student project, I have been working in the Electronics team. My colleagues and I designed and built 3 PCBs equipped with SBCs and a Microcontroller to control and monitor the FARGO experiments. Because of the unconventional components used by the experiments, such as EPMs (electropermanent magnets), the electronics turned out to be quite challenging. To operate the electronics we use Python and MicroPython. I helped with programming the embedded systems such as the pt100-RTD-Converters or MAX22205 H-Bridges.
