I ensure all technical aspects of the production work smoothly and safely, by coordinating between the artistic and technical departments. I coordinate schedules so the lighting, sound, sets and other crews have the time they need to set up their work onstage. I also coordinate with the director and stage manager to ensure actor safety and fulfillment of the director's vision. I oversee the placement and safety of any elements that are placed over the stage. In some case I also have the responsibility for scheduling what happens in the theater as well as assisting any outside groups that rent the theater space. I will often pitch in on the crews that need help, including construction, lighting, fly crew and general run crew. This also requires a firm background knowledge of all technical aspects of theatre to include lighting, sound, rigging, construction, costumes, make-up, safety, as well as artistic elements. I also need to stay current on new and evolving technologies.

Classroom instruction, including lecture, presentations and demonstrations of CAD related courses. Prepares and delivers course curriculum in CAD products. Conducts class discussions, assignments and supports SLCC policy standards. Designs and prepares training/instructional materials, teaching aids.
