• Distinguished Architect o Chief Architect UniMap: Organized and led over 40 domain architects to modernize pipelines and tooling for all HERE map products to increase consistency, reduce redundancy, and leverage new data sources in order to improve product quality, lower update latency, and reduce operational costs. o Leadership Team (VP/Sr. Dir. level): Influenced the structure of the development organization o Partnership with AWS to develop AI driven LLM powered natural language database query system for location data o Solution design domains: Campaign management, sensor data fusion, accuracy and uncertainty, data traceability, simulation, content derivation, digital cartography systems, customer solutions. o Designed SLAM inspired heterogeneous sensor data fusion architecture for map making and localization o Leader in standards compliance (ISO9001:2015, VDA, ASPICE, Data SPICE, ASIL, ISO26262, GDPR), Worked with internal and external auditing organizations (e.g. TÜV SÜD, Kugler Maag, etc.). o Organized principal community to facilitate cross team communication and collaboration from innovation to mentoring.• Sr. Manager: HD Live Map Publication/OMNI research team o 4 development teams, 36 members in Chicago IL, Carlsbad CA, Waterloo IA, Columbia, Slovakia, and Ukraine. o HD Live Map published at continental scale 4 times a day with high reliability while releasing a roadmap of new features. o First to create HD Live Map content from OEM Sensor data, while contributing to the derivation of many HD Live Map attributes.• Manager: Map Learning Platform o Created first product leveraging OEM sensor data enabling the Cornerstone Speed Limit Service. o Initiated CGX SLAM research group and university outreach/recruiting programs to build center of excellence.• Principle Architect/Lead: Computational Geometry o Terrain generation o Building alignment: 3D model to LIDAR o Drive alignment: LIDAR based drive alignment
