Moved a web properties development organization to a standards-compliant DevOps-based culture, modernizing the engineering practices and positively influencing a team of more than 100 individual contributors.- Drove the team to adopt fully automated CI/CD processes, based on standard tools including CloudBees Jenkins, Git, BitBucket, Docker, Artifactory, Nexus, SonarQube, Whitesource, Checkmarx, Splunk, Dynatrace, Catchpoint, etc., taking full advantage of Pipeline Shared Libraries (PSLs) and customizations using Groovy, Python, and bash shell scripting. - Used languages like Python, CloudFormation and Terraform with tools like Chef, Puppet and Ansible along with APIs such as Amazon’s SDK, CDK and Boto3 to design and implement Cloud Native Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Orchestration Engines for AWS, Akamai and Docker. - Facilitated fully Dynamic Infrastructure usage (deploy and destroy for all phases) by designing and implementing a Python based IaC Orchestration System, in a drive to realize the benefits of the Shift-Left Paradigm. - This IaC Orchestration System, which includes features like Blue/Green deployments with HA support, is currently used for multiple ecosystems including for SaaS projects like Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).- Mentored teams to elevate and include Dynamic Infrastructure Usage with the IaC Orchestration System(s), with Best Practices including Security and Governance into the standard software production lifecycle, from design through implementation, delivery, updates, evolution and EOL.

Defined a common software production workflow stack including CloudBees Jenkins pipeline support that was adopted company-wide, to facilitate generalized standards and compliance.- As an Architect’s Team Member, I helped design the common stages, paradigms and reference implementations to be used for guiding other groups to adopt the solution(s).- Composed and delivered several company-wide presentations, evangelizing the new standards-based CI/CD solution.- Educated and onboarded teams to the new company-standard tools and culture, collaborating with them to ensure success in the new paradigm.

Transitioned a manual-validation-first organization to an automated-validation-first culture, creating automated validation and results analysis frameworks.- Using languages like Javascript and Python, I created multiple automated validation harnesses that were deployed on a variety of platforms from CruiseControl, through BuildForge and CloudBees Jenkins. Many of these systems are still in use today, in some cases for more than a decade after I left the project.- Composed, created and integrated an automated results tracking and analysis system, including Relational Database design and Python-based database update system, meant to identify failures in test results and highlight them to engineering team members. This system is still in use today, more than a decade after I left the project.- Pioneered the use of dynamically provisioned MS Windows client compute instances for use in automated validations, embedded in the standard, automated software development process (what is now known as Continuous Integration).- Using CloudStack, designed and implemented a Python based system to fabricate MS Windows compute instances on demand, used in the automated QA processing. This successful system pre-dated AWS.- Used Apache Ant to orchestrate and sequence both the automated infrastructure usage as well as the QA / Validation processing.

As a Senior QA Software Engineer at BEA Systems, my role was to know and understand the J2EE compliant implementations in the Weblogic Server, to identify, track and resolve product defects. - Managed J2EE compliance and drove usability programs, all for the Weblogic Server product family.- Named on two pending U.S. Patents including the Generic user interface testing framework with load-time libraries and System and method for providing a generic user interface testing framework.- Wrote a Python based Orchestration System, to automate the McCabe IQ code coverage tools set, which was integrated in the standard build/test system, with coverage goals mediating system success.
