Contracted with ArthroCare Corporation through Aug 31, 2009, to complete a global training assessment on employee SAP knowledge and functionality. Roll out a global SAP Continuous Improvement Program. Update Internal procedures for new stricter internal compliance requirements (for FDA, TUV, and Sarbanes Oxley) within Operations and deliver global training of the updated requirements. Enlighten Business Unit General Managers on available forecasting, planning, and simulation tools to assist them with their sales and revenue budgets.

Responsible for Global Supply Chain Management, US Purchasing group and Master Schedulers accross 4 sites. Defined internal (department) and external (supplier) metrics for reporting and continuous improvements. Participated in product development teams and helped revamp the 'PDP' process. Managed many 'special' projects, was integral with corporate acquisitions, created and negotiated supplier contracts, created and sustained supplier/OEM relationships. Dedicated internal customer support. Worked closely with General Managers of each Business Unit with Forecast/Sales analysis and reporting and product lifecycle management. Developed department and corporate procedures as well as metrics for compliance tracking and continuous improvements. Developed Supply Base to maximize service levels at minimum costs (tracked via annual cost reduction program and supplier scorecards).

Started as a Program Manager for NPI and Production roll out of Instruments and Accessories. Developed into the Global Master Scheduler and eventually Sr. Manager of Materials and Scheduling.Recruited, Hired and Trained the staff in all processes and procedures, MRP utilization, procurement, planning and scheduling.Worked to strengthen and develop the Supply Base for continuous improvement and cost reduction.Managed global inventory and developed processes for Excess and Obsolete Inventory.

Taxan was Japanese owned small Electronics Turnkey Management Company. I learned the ropes in the 1st 2 years from shipping and warehouse, to QA, to purchasing and eventually managed customer accounts (quotes, customer service, delivery, complaints, negotiations, and complete customer product management).
