As a Data Engineer with a passion for data-driven solutions, I specialise in building efficient data pipelines and transforming raw data into actionable insights. My expertise spans across technologies like Python, Apache Spark, Databricks and AWS. I am also proficient in SQL, Power BI, and ETL/ELT processes.During my Data Engineering Internship at AiCore, I built a highly scalable end-to-end data pipeline, leveraging a combination of AWS services and real-time data streaming technologies. The pipeline, hosted on AWS, handled over 500,000 daily API requests, demonstrating my ability to design and implement robust data architectures.Additionally, in my Multinational Retail Data Centralisation project, I engineered a star-based database schema that improved query performance by 30%, enabling more efficient data analysis for over 100,000 records. The project provided key insights that contributed to increased efficiency and profitability in the retail sector.I am constantly further honing my skills in cloud technologies and big data. My hands-on experience in building data pipelines and real-time processing allows me to tackle complex data challenges and deliver impactful results.Outside of work, I enjoy volunteering as a Producer at Heritage Radio in Manchester, where I bridge technical and creative teams to deliver live broadcasts. I am also an avid Formula 1 fan and love spending time with my cat, who always manages to keep life interesting.
