Lead the development work of The MingDao University System

I work as a volunteer to the scouts association of Taiwan (aka Scouts of China). My responsibility is to strengthen the movement through adult training. A side job is to take lead on Sea Scout development for Taiwan.

Athena Univetsity is a new member of the Athena Education System, comprising MingDao University in Chang Hua, Taiwan, Athena Institute of Holistic Wellnesd in Wu Ji Shang, China, and the International College of MDU in Bangkok Thailand. AU offers three programs in Information and Communication Technology, Business, and Animation Game Design with bachelor and master degrees.

As a family duty call, a drastic career change from an Argonne National Laboratory scientist to a Taiwanese high school principal was made in 1994, that has started my 30-year journey into the wonderful world of education, domestic and then international, high school and then kindergarten to university.

During the transition to becoming a high school principal, I took the teaching post in National Chung-Hsing University in my hometown. During the 4 years stay in NTHU, I help started the materials engineering program and got myself promoted to the full professorship as well. I focused on thin film and coating technology, both hardware and software, and managed to start my first company SurfTech Corp. in Taiwan.
