In 2018, Veris acquired a majority stake in Holland Dairy, a market leading Ethiopian dairy processing company. Veris strives to expand the business and bring Holland Dairy to the next level, both in terms of professionalism and international dairy standards. The investment is not limited to Holland Dairy, the complete value chain, from (smallholder) farmer to end customer, will be improved. The former general manager and minority shareholder left the Company when Veris came on board. As interim manager, my focus was on stabilizing the Company in the post deal transition period, putting policies and procedures into place and executing the first steps of the business plan.
