As fleet manager I am, together with a team of 13 TSI located in Antwerp, India and Jamaica, responsible for 40 gas carriers from multiple owners. The vessel are trading worldwide and are of different types (VLGC, Mid-size, Fully pressurized), different age (newbuilding up to >23 years) and different levels of modern techniques (scrubbers, BWTS, SCR, MAN-ME-C engines). The TSI report to me regarding budget, breakdown, planning, commercial availability etc. In cooperation with other departments I make implementation plans for new regulations on the fleet and together with the TSI we report to the owners.As fleet manager I am responsible to safeguard all works are done according the SMS and in line with TMSA and industry guidelines. Special projects in this function:- Tender for a new customer with 4 newbuild VLGS’c (tender won).- Implementation of multiple vessels into the fleet.- Participating in vision creation of reorganising the Shipmanagement setup towards a more "customer oriented” team set up.- Set-up of- and delegating Shipmanagement activities towards satellite offices in India and Jamaica.

As a Fleet team leader I am responsible for the utilization, daily OPEX and mid-term planning (CAPEX / Dry-dock projects) of the vessels delegated to the team. The team is responsible for half of the fleet of Anthony Veder. The fleet team consists out of CO2 carriers, NH3 carriers, LPG/LEG carriers and LNG carriers. The vessels are of different ages varying from below 5 years up to 23 years.Special projects in this function: - Take over and integration into the existing fleet of 4 2nd-hand vessels Coral Medusa, Coral Monactis, Coral Pearl and Coral Patula- Change of PMS system from StarIPS to Bassnet- Ballast water treatment modifications for the fleet- Part of the ERT team of Anthony Veder- Multiple incident investigations

Responsible for the technical quality, certificates and safety of gas tankers, Preparing and executing dry-dockings, repairs and other projects, Control of plan maintenance system, Cost control of running budgets and project budgets, Reporting of the (technical) performance of vessels in our fleet and advice the management about the expected costs, Give training and presentations to crewmembers.In this role I have been responsible for CO2-, NH3-, LPG/LEG and LNG carriers. I also was involved in the newbuilding and integration into the existing fleet of the LNG carrier Coral Energy and LEG carriers Coral Star and Coral Sticho with LNG DF propulsion.In this position I grew to the function of Fleet team leader.
