My perspective on work and lifestyle shifted during my internship in Bali in 2018. I was working for a Co-Working space in Ubud, spending most of my time around "digital nomads". I was fascinated by how some of these people had designed their life in such a way that they could travel all over the world, meet awesome people and make money at the same time. As I believe we get to choose, I knew I wanted that to be my reality. After starting and then quitting; - a digital marketing agency- a webdesign agency - affiliate websites- selling face masks - whatever else came to mind Failing (a.k.a. learning) a lot along the way, me and Robbin decided to start helping Dutch students with their internships abroad by building a platform. We saw the need for honest information and answers to questions without paying hundreds of euro's for mediation. We kept growing and last year we had just over 100.000 students visiting our platforms. We decided to think bigger and;- expand to Germany and Spain (soon Italy and France) - build our own Internship Matching platform - build our own internship accommodation platform It has been a beautiful journey so far, all starting with our own internship abroad. I hope you can see why this Internship was so important to me, now it's my mission to make internships abroad as accessible as possible for students all over the world.
