Competence Engineer at Technical Support Optics – Escalation Office. Part of the DUV factory. Key tasks include: • Factory support (troubleshooting optics-related problems in the Twinscan factory: e.g. Module Build, System Integration & Pack or System Qualification).• Install support (troubleshooting problems occurring during the install process in the field: e.g. Samsung, TSMC or Intel). Also included on-site support in Taiwan for six weeks in 2022.• Structurally improve the troubleshooting process or lithography machine itself by building up knowledge within team and addressing bottlenecks or structural issues.• Be the Escalation Owner of high-priority issues occurring in the factory or field which implies: o Be the Single Point Of Contact of the issue who is in the lead and is aware of everything that is going on. o Find and contact the right people and departments who can assist in finding a solution for the issue. o Collaborate within team and with Development & Engineering to come up with action plans leading to a solution. o Lead escalation meetings regarding the issue where action plans or options are discussed, and stakeholders are updated. o Aftercare: Identify bottlenecks or structural issues and come up with proposals to improve the process or prevent the issue from reoccurring and carry out these items.• Lens Reject Coordinator (Involved when a projection lens is suspected or rejected whether in the factory at install. Investigates possibilities and aligns with management which option to take.)

Responsible for the drawing process of optical fibers in the Eindhoven plant. Key tasks include: • Process support (troubleshooting production problems)• Analyse data and provide status reports• Identify bottlenecks and come up with proposals to improve the process• Carry out these improvements and be, if it implies a multidisciplinary project, the project leader.• Collaborate in the international BU-wide ‘draw team’ to align definitions and compare individual plants to learn from each other.

Solar collectors store heat in a thermochemical material (heat battery), this heat can be extracted later on for further use. I investigated the use of Potassium Carbonate as heat storage material for such an application.
