The SMS Maintenance team is responsible for the maintenance of the tool used internally by Accenture Application Maintenance Almere, SMS Mercury.SMS (Service Management Suite) Mercury is used to track requests such as Incidents and RFC’s. The tool enforces that the correct process is being followed in resolving the request, and keeps track of the time in which the request must be resolved.Within this one system we serviced multiple clients. Each client would have their own ‘rules’, such as allowed time for completion of an incident or service window, or could have non-standard fields or requirements to populate in the request ticket.

The Service Desk for Application Maintenance in the Netherlands, in short Servicedesk AM NL, was setup as a primary point of contact for businesses which have the maintenance of their applications outsourced to Accenture.The clients of the Servicedesk would report any request (e.g. Incident, Request for Change or Standard Request for Change) per e-mail to the servicedesk, which would in turn register a ticket in the customized Service Management Suite (SMS Mercury) and assign the request to the correct party.

As TOC (Test Environment Coordinator) I am maintaining the availability of the various test environments for Testing. This is done by coordinating and communicating about the deployment of new builds, incident handling, checking the possibilty for simultaneous testing and setting up new chain environments.As part of the role I'll be closely working with teammembers in India.

The BSS Fiber AM team is responsible for the continuous performance of the Production environment for the Business Operations towards customers of the Clients' Fiber connection.The team is actively monitoring and acting on the status of the applications, resolving incidents and deploying environment upgrades, while maintaining high availability and good performance of the servers.The technical aspect has been outsourced to the offshore team, with members onshore to coordinate the offshore team and communicate towards Client.

VGSHBO Ars Vivendi is a students’ association in Den Haag. Ars Vivendi isn’t specific to one study, so there is always a large variety in the skills of the members.The assosiation needed a website with two functions: to promote the association and its activities via newsposts and newsletters and photo galleries and to provide an online meeting place for the members and otherwise interested people by offering a webforum and the ability to comment on posts, photo's and calendar entries.Because of the variety of skills of the members the website had to be able to be updated by people without much technical knowledge.

Zorgwijzer Rijnstreek was an organization responsible for allocating help at home for people in need. This help could vary from full housekeeping, to delivering a meal, to budgeting a required adjustment to people’s houses (for elevators, widening doors, etc.)They made the decision on the amount of help people would receive on a set of criteria. As of a law change these criteria needed to be publicized. To meet this law they asked me to create a website for them containing this information.
