It is my mission to contribute solving one fundamental pillar of the climate crisis: polluting energy supply. Working on BIG projects, creating BIG impact, by acting NOW.So far, I worked mostly on large-scale solar energy projects in The Netherlands and successfully performed the following:- Developing feasibility studies, both financial and technical, for PV installations on commercial properties (up to 10+ megawatt scale)- Responsible for gathering the necessary documents and successfully obtaining SDE++ subsidies (for multiple years)- Developing early-stage technical risk assessments for project financing, based on fundamental component/design choices (up to 80+ megawatt scale)- Detailed project lifetime yield calculations, using 3D modelling, PVsyst and data from local weather stations (up to 40+ megawatt scale)- In-depth technical design verification, including string configurations, compliance with all applicable permits, cable calculations, design lay-out, etc. (up to 80+ megawatt scale)- On-site commissioning, verification of as-built documentation and checking compliance with design.I worked on many different types of PV installations, including yield calculations for a 9 MW agri-PV installation and a 45 MW field installation partially consisting of vertical modules. Recently I was also involved with to battery storage projects, for both small near off-grid installations and big grid management. As I am passionate about the general forward movement of the energy transition, I want to contribute my energy to any climate positive technique. My goal is to be able to solve ALL sorts of problems, whether it would be for green hydrogen, smart charging/grid solutions, batteries, wind- or hydropower energy. In The Netherlands, high school consists of various study-levels and all have final exams at the end of the school career. The exams are organised country-wide and happen at the same time for all students. These final exams test the student's knowledge on all what was learned during their time at high school and are very important for the finalisation of their time at high school. As an "Examentrainer" you are given the task to refresh the students memory of all they had learned in the past… Show more In The Netherlands, high school consists of various study-levels and all have final exams at the end of the school career. The exams are organised country-wide and happen at the same time for all students. These final exams test the student's knowledge on all what was learned during their time at high school and are very important for the finalisation of their time at high school. As an "Examentrainer" you are given the task to refresh the students memory of all they had learned in the past 4-6 years about that subject, in just 1-3 days. Exam trainings are very effective to summarise all the relevant formulas and calculation methods to solve the hardest questions on the exam. Personally, I taught most of the time Physics and Chemistry, in classrooms varying from 1 to 30+ students, of all study-levels in almost all provinces in The Netherlands. This gave me a strong sense of how to work with students and how to organise a group. Due to my extensive efforts to teach the kids what they needed to know to succeed in their exams, I was honoured with the title "Top trainer", meaning I was consistently rated an 8+ score by the students and managers. I analyzed the impact of climate change on the grape quality in the wine-region Toro DO (NW Spain) by studying different climatic variables such as precipitation and temperature, but also phenological timings and grape contents. A step towards fulfilling the ambition to create life-like materials has been taken by studying how to control signal transfer in aqueous environments. The self-assembling properties of an amphiphilic surfactant were used in attempts to control autonomous filament growth, by pH-sensitive polymeric systems.

At GreenPAC, I performed the final internship of my Chemistry studies of the University of Applied Sciences HAN (Nijmegen). I studied the synthesis, product shaping and application of a bio-based 3D-printable material. A flexible thermoplastic elastomer was synthesized using poly(butylene terephthalate) and a drop-in bio-based chemical from Croda (Gouda), for improved flexibility. A 3D-printed end-result was obtained.

Many conventional paint formulations contain heavy metals as drying reagents to enhance product performance. During my internship at Corbion, I have made alkyd resin formulations using a natural product of theirs, to enhance this performance while reducing heavy metal contents. Drying conditions regarding temperature and humidity were varied, to ensure its global potential.
