The concept behind the Make Dave Money project is to make this Dave money through automation and machine learning.Utilizing python and SQL to update and regulate variablesResearching, purchasing, and optimizing computer hardware for project usesAutomating programs with CRON for seamless functionalityBuilding reporting tools to monitor program functionality, quickly share information with visualizations, and quickly repair code if it fails.The project originated as an interest in investing for the future in 2014. After being laid off from Waukesha County in 2020, I noticed that life was passing me by.I began project development in 2020, paused while employed by Serve You Rx, and began after being laid off again. I never really thought the project would work for anything other than as a method of proving myself to potential employers and building my knowledge of machine learning which would still make Dave money.

I recorded the results of my time gardening in an effort to collect data. The original purpose was to discovery how much data could be recorded about a random hobby. This was all originally done in an effort to show potential employers that I could be creative, intelligent, and skilled enough to be hired.In becoming more and more interested in this hobby, I became more and more interested in similar sources. I decided to start editing and scheduling the videos to follow the season starting in the fall harvest and planting of winter wheat. The preparation of which starts in September which is why the series started in September of 2024. After finding some success, I decided to schedule the year in advance and therefore automate the entire season.
